Uhhh...

Sorry about that. I have neglected the blog and I'm sorry. I have to admit that Facebook gets most of my photos and updates now. But I realize that some of my family doesn't use Facebook. Sheesh.

But lots has happened since the last post. Avery is walking! She has five teeth with three more about to make their appearance. She says "baby" and signs it (basically rocks back and forth while saying it) and she waves and dances and wiggles and shakes and claps and is basically very cute. She loves to smile, and when she does, she crinkles her nose. So cute! She's eating big people food more often now. Before, she would gag and make "ew ick" faces when we'd give her real food. She went down one size in her diapers. Probably from all the calories she's burning trying to keep up with her big sister.

Speaking of the devil Emily, she is still a hoot to be around. She prances and dances and sings all the time. Right now, her big thing is she wants to get inside the books she reads. One time she said she wanted to get in the magazine I was reading, so I told her to go ahead and get in, and she did this diving motion and said, "Oh, it's no use." And then the other night I was reading her a story about Tarzan and she said she wanted to get in the book and play with Tarzan and I said, "Okay, dive in!" and she touched the page and said, "I can't, it's made of glass." I put the book up to my face and I said, "I'm in the book!" and she said, "Tell Tarzan I said hi!" So funny!

We struggled with what she wanted to be for Halloween this year. She has wanted to be a princess, Hannah Montana, a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle, Optimus Prime, Megatron, Bumble Bee, and a zombie. I was pushing for the princess (I know, I know, shocker), anything but a Transformer. And then I was going to dress Avery as a frog to go with Princess Emily (Nana's idea). But just the other day, Emily saw a Supergirl costume and liked it and I tossed it in the shopping cart and said, "Okay, let's go!" before she could change her mind. She put the costume on after we got home and LOVES it! So yay for not being a Transformer for Halloween!
