This really isn't a haunted house. It's really a nice old house that has creaky floors and moaning beams. It doesn't have ghosts that roam the halls and it doesn't have vampire bats that bite your neck. Right? When we were kids, we would spend summers at the Fait's house. Fun times, let me tell you! One summer we decided there was a treasure hidden in the stairs. I have memories of kicking each step to listen for a hollow step that held the treasure. We never found it.
I was told that there were vampire bats in the tower, so at night, we would wear blankets around our necks in order to prevent our necks from being bitten.
One time we put our cousin in a box and pushed her down the stairs. Remember that, Marjie? If you do, Michael did it. If you don't remember, well, maybe you have memory loss from the concussion.

Did I do that? Couldn't have been me. I'd never push anyone down the stairs unless I was given permission or their name was Katie Fait. Now, I do remember heaving her boxed butt down two flights of stairs. Ahhh...lovely memories of "Cousin Abuse"...
I remember thinking ghosts occupied the attic, and the living room. But not the floors in-between. I didn't sleep a wink when I had to sleep on the couch in the living room. I just knew there was an evil ghost maid that was going to shave my head in my sleep.
Anytime I drink or see a Squirt soda, I think of being at their house and swiping one and chugging it in the bathroom so no one else would see that I stole a soda from Aunt Sharon's fridge.
Guess you could say I was a "Squirt-Stealing, Ghost-Fearin', Cousin-Abusing" kid.
that house does look really creepy though...::shudders::
It was years and YEARS before I would spend the night in this house. I like Sharon's new house much better, although it was kinda entertaining, being able to look through the floor while going potty in their downstairs bathroom...
That house was TOTALLY haunted. Fer real. Gave me the willies.
