Cranky Butt

I love the last photo. When I took the picture I thought she was smiling. She was smiling just before and just after I took it. Silly girl.

Photo Shoot

We went outside yesterday and took some pictures. Emily likes it outside. She is getting so big! We added pears to her cereal and she LOVES it. I couldn't feed it to her fast enough. This kid loves to eat.

We started giving Emily cereal on Sunday. She LOVES it! We couldn't feed her fast enough. Rob says she's probably used to how the bottle gives her as much as she wants when she wants it and she gets frustrated when she only gets a spoonful at a time.

She had her 4 month well visit today and got her shots. She cried, poor thing. She is 14 pounds and is 25 inches long. 

Sitting Up?!?

 
 
 
 
I've been working with Emily on sitting up. Today was the first day that I was able to get her to stay upright (if you can call it that) without toppling over. She finally figured out to brace herself with her hands. What a cutie! 

Mobility!

Emily is rolling all over the place now. She likes to roll all over the livingroom. I'll put her down and then walk into another room and when I come back, she's in a totally different place. She more content to play with her toys. It's nice, because I can put her in her walker and make dinner and she's content for a while.

Stuck!

Emily was playing with her toy gym this morning and she got her leg stuck in one of the toys. So, I got her leg out and removed that toy from the gym.
 
I leave the room for a minute and I hear her fussing. I go back in there and she's got her arm stuck in another toy.
  
I can't take any more of her toys off the gym or she won't have any toys to play with.

Yes, I took pictures of my daughter while she was "in distress" and yes, I didn't snap her onesie back after I changed her diaper. I change her diaper so much that I figure what's the point of snapping her onesie...I'm just going to unsnap it in five minutes anyway.

I wonder how many pictures I can take of Emily before my computer gets overloaded. But she's so cute! I can't help myself. 

Look Who's 4 Months Old!

 
 
 
 
Emily is four months old today! She's doing well with tummy time! She loves to roll over from her back to her tummy and she can stay on her tummy for quite a while and play with her toys. You can see she's got a little scratch on her nose. I promise, I JUST cut her nails! Ask Nana. Those things grow back so fast...and sharp!

Emily and I spent a whole week at Nana's and Grandpa's house. We had a good time. We wish we could have stayed longer.

Good Book!

Emily is reading now. She was really into this book when I interrupted her. "Whatcha doin', Emily?"



"I'm reading a good book."





I think she meant "tastey book."

Corgan and Emily

I watched Corgan on Saturday while Kelly went and taught a class.

Yeah, I turned the TV on to entertain him. Hey, whatever it takes to keep him happy...




Corgan loves Emily! Does it look like he's trying to choke her? Hmmm, maybe her crying got to him.
