Last week for Rob's birthday, we went to the zoo. We really thought Emily would enjoy it since she loves animals. She wasn't as interested as we thought she'd be, but we had a good time and we can't wait until we go again!

This is the face she makes when she sees a flower. She now knows the sign for "flower" and now she makes this face and signs it.
She loved the giraffes. They're pretty much her favorite animal.

There was this iguana statue that Emily was afraid of. She wouldn't come close to it, but you could tell she wanted to. There were some other kids climbing on it to have their pictures taken and she just watched. 
She did eventually approach the iguana and touched its eye. Why the eye? I don't know.

Looks like it was a pretty day for the zoo. Maybe she was trying to blind the iguana so he couldn't chase her???
Iguana's are ugly. I would probably react the same way as Emily...except I would "kick" it instead of just "touch" it.
The eye? lol
She didn't like the Liger? It's pretty much my favorite animal...
